Each makeup artist’s style differs due to technique and experience. At Hijab Couture, we are highly proficient in a variety of bridal makeup styles according to your vision and needs, from simple & soft, to dramatic & glamorous.
We specialize in advanced blending techniques in order to amplify and enhance your natural beauty through makeup. We start at the center focal point, your eyes, and then work outwards to augment your most striking features and make you feel confident and gorgeous!

We specialize in Bridal Updos that are designed to hold heavy dupattas, and flow perfectly to complete your look.
DUPATTA SETTING
Dupatta & Jewelry setting can be applied to complete your bridal package. We use unique techniques to ensure a non-slip dupatta experience that will stay put for your entire event. Our attention to detail ensures a perfect dupatta setting to perfect your bridal look.

BRIDAL MAKEUP
It's your wedding and you deserve to look your best! With over 10 years of experience, Makeup by Hijab Couture is sure to make you look radiant and beautiful while providing you with a friendly and personalized experience. Along with using high-end branded makeup products, our expert techniques ensure a long lasting and immaculate look on your wedding day.
Bridal Makeup application is available in studio or at the wedding location. Bridal Makeup application typically runs for 1.5 hours - 2 hours. A standard travel fee of $25 is applied for on-location makeup application.
We customize bridal makeup packages to include 3-day wedding celebrations most prominently done in South Asian cultures, and/or bridal party makeup & hair service that includes the mother of the bride & bridesmaids.

Let us help to create the perfect look that is right for you. An Up-Do that is meant for a Dupatta setting differs in technique than an Up-Do for a veil, and our experience has provided us the expertise required to style different bridal Up-Dos for different occasions and/or needs.
We specialize in most modern hair styles that include all types of Up-Do's, Half-Do's, or Full Down "Hollywood" glam.
A trial is highly recommended to understand your vision and to see if hair extensions are needed to achieve your look.
DUPATTA SETTING
Dupatta & Jewelry setting can be applied to complete your bridal package. We use unique techniques to ensure a non-slip dupatta experience that will stay put for your entire event. Our attention to detail ensures a perfect dupatta flow to ensure your bridal look is flawless.
Hair & Makeup
Non-Wedding Makeup application & Hair Styling is available in studio.* Non-Wedding Makeup application includes party & photoshoot makeup.
Private studio hair appointments can be made with our Lead Hair Stylist & Color Specialist, Faiza, who is a Licensed Esthetician with 25+ years of experience.
*Two studios are conveniently located in the Houston/Westchase area near City Center, and Katy/99 near La Centerra.

Affaf is an accomplished entrepreneur, designer, & makeup artist who began her company while in college studying Industrial Engineering. Affaf has been doing makeup & bridal updos for 10+ years with her vast knowledge of Asian & Arab bridal looks. Her work has been rated in Wedding Wire, The Knot, and featured in publications such as Southern Bridal Magazine.
"Beauty & Makeup has been my passion for the past 10 years. With extensive hands on experience, I truly love and enjoy the creative process of making a woman feel beautiful through makeup. When I'm not designing hijabs and veils, or glamorizing my beautiful clients, you'll find me cooking or organizing. I'm a wife, a mom to a little boy, with another one on the way! I left my engineering career to pursue this dream because passion drives me, and I love what I do."
